Joy Agnew
Director of Applied Research, Olds College Centre for Innovation
Joy grew up on a grain farm near Prince Albert, Sask., and earned her PhD in Ag/Bio Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan.
She spent 10 years at the Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute as a program manager for agricultural research services before taking the role of Director of Applied Research at Olds College in January 2019. At Olds College, Joy is overseeing the activities in crops, livestock production, turfgrass, environment and wetlands applied research areas along with developing an applied research program for the new Smart Agriculture initiative.
